They divided each state at least in half. Many into quarters. Paper is thin and easy to tear as a result. Prefer the old style with a state on a single page that will last. Husband says too few cities shown on map. He prefers the larger more unwieldy road atlas for car travel. I prefer the smaller version for ease of use during travel. Nice atlas my only issue is the layout, you have to turn the atlas on bigger states instead of putting the map on several pages. Overall a good atlas.
